I will admit I LOVE ROOT BEER FLOATS! Oh my goodness, they are so yummy plus summertime is the best time to make them for the family. Root Beer is one of my favorite sodas and ice cream is one of my favorite desserts so can’t go wrong at all!
When my kids saw what I was making, they were so excited. Making floats as a family is the best. Seeing their smiles and excitement about the floats just made my heart fill up with happiness. We are making family memories every day.
I wanted to try out some recipes before the BIG DAY: National Root Beer Float Day (8/6)! That way our readers can go out and get some A&W Root Beer and ICE CREAM! And make their own floats!
Are you ready to make your own- Simply and Easy! By the way, you will need cool glasses and cooler straws plus don’t forget the SPOON!
- Pour some A&W Root Beer
- Scoop Vanilla Ice Cream
- Pour some more A&W Root Beer
- Scoop of Ice Cream
- Top with Whipped Cream
- Add Sprinkles
The key to the best Root Beer Float is the Root Beer; it has to be packed with flavor, or the float will be boring! So I will only use these Root Beers~ A&W, Hires, IBC and Stewart’s Root Beer!
